Hey there! First of all, congratulations on the frontpage.

I really like the happy uplifting vibe you went with for this song. The melodies along with the piano and the bass really work well together. Now, there is not all that much going on in the song, but that works well considering the genre, and I can really see this being in a video game of some sort. What I would've wanted is a little more variation. You have the same drums throughout the entire track, except for the little bridge in the middle. Therefore it keeps the same amount of intensity and energy throughout. This isn't a huge negative thing, because it kind of fits the genre you've gone for. The piano/chords are also the same throughout the entire piece which I would've liked to see a little change of. Mixing wise, I think it sounds nice and clear, although I do think it sounds empty at parts. There is not much reverb going on, which I think would help fill out some of those empty gaps quite well. I also would have liked to hear the main melody a little more upfront, as it's getting a little overpowered by the piano. I also would've liked to hear some sort of melodic element in the second half of the song, just like in the first half. But hey man, solid work with the overall vibe of the song, sound choice, rythmic and melodic content.

I'm sorry to inform you that the auditions for NGADM closed about a week ago.
And if you plan on participating in NGADM in the future, make sure to post a link to your song in the NGADM audition thread :)
The contest takes place every year, starting during the summer, so keep your head up for the NGADM audition round thread on the frontpage next year in June :)
